How do I play Diffora?
Each level shows two pictures that look the same but contain a number of small differences. Tap a difference in either picture to mark it. Find them all before the timer runs out to complete the level and earn stars.

What happens if I tap the wrong spot?
A wrong tap costs one life. When you run out of lives, or the timer reaches zero, the level ends and you can try again. Tapping a difference you have already found does not cost anything.
How are stars awarded?
You earn stars by completing a level, and finishing quickly earns more of them. Stars show your progress through each world.
How do hints work?
If you are stuck, a hint highlights one of the differences you have not found yet. In the app you can get extra hints by watching a short video ad.
Is there a time limit?
Yes. Every level has a timer shown at the top of the screen. It turns red during the last seconds, so watch it as you search.
Worlds and levels
What are worlds?
Levels are grouped into themed worlds: Green Valley, Space Adventure, Ice World, City Life, Ancient World and Ocean Adventure. You unlock the next world by completing the levels in the one before it.
How many levels are there?
Well over a hundred, with more than 20 in each world, and new levels are added regularly. Turn on notifications in the app to hear when new ones arrive.
What is the Daily Challenge?
A new puzzle every day. Complete it to earn extra rewards. It is also a great way to practise a little each day.
Devices and access
Is Diffora free?
Yes. Diffora is free to download and play. It is supported by ads, and the in-game shop is optional.
Which devices can I play on?
Diffora is available for iPhone and iPad on the App Store and for Android phones and tablets on Google Play.
Can I play in a web browser?
Yes. You can try a real Diffora puzzle at diffora.app/play without installing anything. It picks a random puzzle each time. For the full game with worlds, stars and daily challenges, download the app.

Do I need an account?
No. You can start playing straight away without signing up.
Will my progress carry over to a new phone?
Your game progress is saved on your device. If you uninstall the app or switch devices, your progress may not carry over.
